Internal Sales Executive

As the Internal Sales Executive in the DataVita team you will be responsible for lead generation, new business development and day to day management of existing customers. You will work closely with the Commercial Director to utilise all marketing channels (social media, website, eShots, telephone and events) to generate qualified leads. You will be given a target to generate an amount of net new customers to DataVita each year. In addition to this you will be asked to work with the existing team to manage day to day commercial requests from existing customers.

Your duties will include quote generation, CRM management, marketing activities, dealing with customer enquiries, liaising with the support team on customer issues and working with the back office team.  This role is ideally suited to someone with a minimum of 1 years of experience in the IT industry.  You will need to be self-motivated and have good ICT skills.  You will report to the Commercial Director and be expected to maintain all your activity in a CRM system to provide weekly reports. You will be given annual targets for lead generation and new business sales.  Once established, there will be opportunities for progression, including the longer term goal to move into an external sales or management position.

Senior Technical Architect

The Senior Technical Architect will primarily fulfil the role of an architect for DataVita’s cloud platforms from both a hardware and software perspective.  This will include evaluation of new products, proof of concepts, design input into new services, production of support and operations schedules of cloud service, capacity planning and technical support.  You will have strong experience in designing and implementing datacentre solutions (networks, servers, storage and applications) and ideally have experience in delivering scale out platforms to support cloud computing.  You will also have experience in integrating core software platforms such as BMS, DCIM, ServiceDesk, Monitoring and Management Platforms using industry standard APIs such as REST.

You will report to the Operations Director and ideally will have worked in a service provider environment during a previous employment.  You will be given annual objectives with monthly KPIs to monitor performance.

Technical Consultant

As a Technical Consultant role in DataVita, you will be part of a team responsible for the day to day administration of DataVita’s cloud platforms from both a hardware and software perspective.  This will include 3rd line incident/problem/change management in response to escalations and customer logged issues, release management and working with the Technical Architect on capacity planning.  You will have strong experience in supporting and managing datacentre solutions (networks, servers, storage and applications) and ideally have experience in working with scale out platforms to support cloud computing.

You will report to the Technical Services Manager and ideally will have worked in a service provider environment during a previous employment.  You will be given annual objectives with monthly KPIs to monitor performance.

Service Desk Operations Co-ordinator

As a Service Desk Operations Co-ordinator you will be part of the Service Desk team responsible for providing 1st line support to both internal and external customers. Based in the Datacentre the role involves diagnosing, logging and tracking incidents and changes through our Service Management Portal, keeping customers and other support staff updated throughout the process. These duties are required to be carried out in line with the constraints imposed by our contractual SLAs. The Datacentre is operational 24x7x365 therefore the post will involve working shift patterns, including nightshift.

You will report to the Service Desk Team Leader and will ideally have worked in IT support during previous employment. You will be given annual objectives and monthly KPIs to monitor performance.

Senior Facilities Engineer

As a Senior Facilities Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining the M&E infrastructure within the datacentre facility.  Your duties will include management of maintenance plans, escalations, management of the Facilities team and capacity planning in conjunction with the Datacentre Manager.  You will have a strong background in maintaining M&E infrastructure of a similar type and you will be expected to provide weekly reports to the Datacentre Manager and to ensure that SLAs are adhered to.

You will report to the Datacentre Manager and ideally will have worked in a large scale datacentre environment during a previous employment.  You will be given annual objectives with monthly KPIs to monitor performance.

Facilities Engineer

As a Facilities Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining the M&E infrastructure in conjunction with the Senior Facilities Engineer within the datacentre facility.  Your duties will include execution of maintenance plans, escalations, management of the datacentre facility and implementation of changes.  You will ideally have a strong background in maintaining M&E infrastructure of a similar type or an M&E background with experience maintaining critical power in a different industry that can be easily transferred to a datacentre environment.

You will report to the Datacentre Manager and ideally will have worked in a large scale datacentre environment during a previous employment.  You will be given annual objectives with monthly KPIs to monitor performance.

Junior Facilities Engineer

As a Junior Facilities Engineer you will be responsible for working on M&E maintenance schedules for the datacentre facility.  Your duties will include execution of maintenance tasks and working with senior FE colleagues to implement changes.  You will have a relevant background in M&E infrastructure.  This role is ideally suited to a graduate and has excellent opportunities for progression to the senior roles in the FE team.

You will report to the Senior Facilities Engineer and ideally have some experience of working in a mission critical environment.  You will be given annual objectives with monthly KPIs to monitor performance.
